1. Organizer
The competition is organized by IG Wiege der Schweiz (“Organizer”).
Instagram and Facebook are not connected with this competition and are neither sponsors nor organizers. The competition is in no way sponsored, supported, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
Any prize and service partners may provide individual prizes, but they are not organizers of the competition.
2. Eligibility
Eligible to participate are natural persons aged 18 or over who reside in Switzerland.
Employees of IG Wiege der Schweiz, the directly involved project and implementation partners, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.
3. Participation, Procedure and Competition Period
Participation takes place during the competition period by the participating person:
- sharing their own moment along the Waldstätterweg Route 98 or the Weg der Schweiz Route 99 on Instagram or Facebook, for example as a photo, reel, post or story, and using the hashtag #WaldstätterChallenge;
- tagging @wiegederschweiz directly in the post or story and/or mentioning the account in the caption, or mentioning “Wiege der Schweiz” on Facebook;
- following the account @wiegederschweiz or “Wiege der Schweiz”;
- sending the Organizer a direct message after posting, including a screenshot or link to the post, so that the entry can be clearly assigned.
In order for an entry to be considered, the post must be visible to the Organizer and must be documented via direct message. For private profiles or stories that are no longer visible, participation can only be considered if the post is documented in time via direct message with a screenshot or link.
The competition period runs from 1 June 2026 to 25 October 2026, 11:59 p.m.
The circuit around Lake Lucerne may be completed in stages. The focus is not on athletic performance or speed, but on the experience, discovering the route, and sharing personal impressions.
In principle, one entry per person is possible for each monthly prize draw. Multiple posts are welcome, but do not automatically increase the chance of winning. Multiple wins, automated entries, fake profiles or abusive entries may be excluded.
4. Prize, Selection and Determination of Winners
Among all valid entries, prizes will be drawn monthly during the competition period. The prizes come from the “Wiege der Schweiz” region and include culinary, activity and experience offers.
Planned monthly prize draws:

The winners will be selected by the Organizer from among all valid entries for the respective month. The draw takes place after the end of each month, no later than within 10 working days.
Cash payment, exchange or transfer of the prize is excluded. The Organizer reserves the right to replace prizes with equivalent alternatives if individual prizes are not available.
5. Requirements for Posts and Content
The submitted or published content must have been created by the participating person themselves, or the participating person must have the necessary rights to it.
Posts may not contain any unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, violence-glorifying, obscene or otherwise inappropriate content.
If other people are recognizable in photos or videos, the participating person must ensure that they agree to the publication and any further use in connection with the Challenge.
The Organizer may exclude posts from the competition without giving reasons, especially if they violate these Terms and Conditions, third-party rights or applicable law.
6. Image Rights and Use
By participating, the participating person agrees that the Organizer may use the submitted or tagged post in connection with the Waldstätterweg Challenge, particularly for communication on the website, social media, newsletter, media relations or reviews of the Challenge.
The use takes place exclusively in connection with the Waldstätterweg Challenge, the Waldstätterweg, the Weg der Schweiz and the Wiege der Schweiz experience region.
The participating person remains the author of their content. Commercial transfer to third parties will not take place without separate consent.
7. Notification of Winners
The winners will be notified by direct message via Instagram or Facebook and/or by email, provided an email address is available.
If a winning person does not respond within 10 days after notification, the prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner may be selected.
For the delivery or organization of the prize, name, address, email address and, where applicable, other necessary information may be collected.
8. Data Protection
The transmitted personal data will be used exclusively to carry out the Waldstätterweg Challenge, in particular to check participation, make contact, notify winners, and deliver or organize the prize.
The data will not be passed on to third parties, except where this is necessary for handling the prize, for example to involved service partners.
Swiss data protection law applies, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection. The FADP aims to protect the personality and fundamental rights of persons whose personal data is processed.
9. Changes and Early Termination
IG Wiege der Schweiz reserves the right to change, interrupt or terminate the competition early at any time if this is necessary for important reasons.
This applies in particular in the event of technical problems, abuse, manipulation or circumstances that impair the proper conduct of the competition.
10. Legal Recourse and Applicable Law
Legal recourse is excluded. Swiss law applies.
