On June 28, 2025, the new Harderband Tunnel was officially opened and celebrated with a festival for the people of Uri. Visitors can explore the new adventure tunnel by boat and on foot for half price until July 13.

The Swiss Path
In 1991, to mark the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation, the cantons presented the Swiss people with the Voie Suisse. It's a 35-kilometre scenic route around the southernmost arm of Lake Lucerne, Lake Uri. It invites you to explore history, opens doors to unspoilt nature and encourages you to talk about yourself.
