Together with Thurgau Tourism, we invite you to a special change of perspective: While the people of Thurgau immerse themselves in the history of William Tell in the heart of Switzerland and experience the origins of the Swiss Confederation up close on Lake Uri, the people of Uri discover the fertile side of Thurgau - where the apples grow, are processed and enjoyed.

A day trip in the footsteps of Swiss history: guests from Thurgau experience the Rütli, where the legend of William Tell comes to life - surrounded by impressive mountain scenery and Lake Lucerne. The program includes a boat trip, a guided hike and an “oath menu” in a traditional inn - with a sweet apple shot as the crowning glory.
